Connie & John’s Pizza

Connie & John’s Pizza is the brainchild of dynamic duo – chefs Connie DeSousa and John Jackson. Channelling the spirit of iconic NYC and Detroit pizzerias, it’s where serious craftsmanship meets seriously good pizza. With 4 years of successful business across two locations (and a third on the horizon), the time had come to reinvigorate this beloved local institution with a complete refresh. We took a deep dive into the heart and soul of the brand and kicked off this project by developing a new logo system, where Connie and John emerge as charismatic characters who embody the essence of the brand. This was followed by designing custom pizza boxes, menus, interior and exterior signage, as well as a new website, with no detail overlooked. The updated visual and verbal brand identity exudes vibrancy, colour, and playfulness, serving as a true reflection of Connie and John’s infectious personalities and their profound appreciation for pizza culture and history.
