TOAD, an architecture firm based in Vancouver, British Columbia, excels in creating experiences that exceed what people seek and redefine what they imagine. Their structures defy convention, and their designs are liberated by creativity. When founder Tony Osborn approached us for a brand refresh, we knew we had to capture the company’s ethos of pushing creative boundaries and provoking divergent thinking. Designed for humans, TOAD sculpts spaces that are about people and the way they feel in them; similarly, we do the same for brands. Starting with strategy and positioning, we developed a new logo system, brand illustrations, and collateral, along with a fresh colour palette and typography. We also updated TOAD’s verbal identity with a new tagline and rally cry. This comprehensive visual and verbal rebranding culminated in a completely redesigned website that seamlessly ties all brand elements together, reflecting TOAD's innovative spirit and commitment to exploring uncharted territory.
